BARC! has partnered with community food banks to assist income-eligible families with food for their dogs and cats to make sure families can keep them.
5,888 dogs and cats have been given 21,512 pounds of food since the BARC! Pet Food Pantry debuted in May 2010.
On average each week BARC! gives 978 pounds of pet food for 268 dogs and cats.

This is an ongoing pet food pantry and distribution rather than one-time pet food drive.
With the help of volunteers, BARC! will be able to collect and transport the much needed pet food from the collection points around Baldwin County to the distribution sites of Ecumenical Ministries in Fairhope and Foley and Prodisee Pantry in Spanish Fort.
